More Upcycled Clothes Creations, Awareness about Fast Fashion Impacts, and Meeting Amazing People
It is a Summer Time!
It’s the perfect time for a holiday, relaxing with nature and slowing down. I hope you have all been able to be closer to the nature, spending more time outdoors when possible.
It is been a busy time for me indeed! I have been a guest speaker on 6 different podcasts and one radio station in the past few weeks. I really loved ‘virtually meeting’ the hosts, it is always great to spread my message.

These included a wonderful magazine, and a radio station: Sofya Style- everything for women and girls, run by Anna Pendlebury. We discussed upcycling and how to start teaching children to sew. I am grateful to be able to collaborate with Anna. There is more to come!
Collaborating with Podcasts
I was also invited to be guest speaker at Upcycle TV, where my interview was published as a podcast and as a youtube episode. Also, fast fashion impact and sustainability was a main topic for discussion at SayYourPeace podcast as well. I encourage others to go for 200 days without buying any new clothes: #200daysthatmatter. Many have joined this challenge; will you?

I was so delighted to be featured in our local newspaper, the Northampton Chronicle and Echo on 24 July 2020. This is just the start, and I am very happy to be able to share my message about #upcycling clothes and fast fashion impacts with more people.
A Beginner's Guide to Upcycling Clothes is on sale!
In addition, I was also featured in a blog: Crafstory, and had a chance to meet amazing Mel Patrick and Louise Smith (who took this amazing photo of me with jeans ) face to face in March this year. I urge you to have a look at this piece, Empowering Change: 7 Crafts Boutique. It was an honour working with these ladies.
There is a great project that I was working on, and it will be very useful and helpful for those who would like to start upcycling but never had any sewing experience. I have juat released for sale in my online store ‘A Beginner’s Guide to Upcycling Clothes’. I am quite excited about this, as it will help those who have no sewing experience. The projects that I included into this tutorial are very versitile and can be apllied to different garments. The results will surprise you and make you feel proud of your new skill. And of course, I continue working on my book too!

Finally, I am working on my custom orders and new designs together with all above, because I absolutely love it! This time, I am upcycling jeans and denim is one of my favourite fabrics to work with for many reasons. Denim handbags are coming soon.
