The project for this class is making a fabric brooch using different fabrics and embellishments.

How often do you get a chance to have some ‘me time’, relax and do something for yourself?
It is not always easy to do, with our busy lifestyles.
However, it is possible to do something rewarding and useful AND relaxing (helping you to recharge) at the same time.
Learn and practice simple hand stitch techniques in a relaxing atmosphere. Get ideas for your garments, and learn how to make them look unique, or learn how to fix the most common issues.
Hot drinks and homemade cake will be available.

Location: Working Men’s Club, 6-8 Westfields Terrace, Higham Ferrers, Rushden, NN10 8BB (Parking on site available, first come first serve).

You are welcome to join me for this series of classes, where I will be sharing the most useful and important tips and techniques, to solve everyday issues with your textiles.

All materials will be provided. There will be different projects and different techniques to learn every time and some creative tasks to do at home too. 🙂
If you have any garments, that you need help with mending or restyling, feel free to bring them along. Let me know if you need any additional supplies for that.
