The project for this workshop is making a Thank you Card that travels the World, using the Japanese Hand-Stiching Technique.

How often do you get a chance to have some ‘me time’, relax and do something for yourself?
It is not always easy to do, with our busy lifestyles.
However, it is possible to do something rewarding and useful AND relaxing (helping you to recharge) at the same time.
Learn and practice simple Sashiko hand-stitching techniques in a relaxing atmosphere.

Hand-Sewing Class: Any age. any level.
Date and time: 16 April, 10.00 – 12.00, with a tea break.
Location: Working Men’s Club, 6-8 Westfields Terrace, Higham Ferrers, Rushden, NN10 8BB (Parking on site available, first come first serve).

All materials will be provided. There will be different projects and different techniques to learn every time and some creative tasks to do at home too. 🙂
If you have any garments, that you need help with mending or restyling, feel free to bring them along. Let me know if you need any additional supplies for that.
